Marketplace Overview

The Vortexus Marketplace transforms Pterodactyl Panel eggs into a beautiful, client-facing marketplace experience similar to Vercel, Heroku, or Railway.

Accessing the Marketplace​

Navigate to Addons → Vortexus Marketplace in WHMCS admin.

Dashboard​

The dashboard is your central hub displaying:

Statistics Cards​

  • Categories - Total number of categories
  • Active Templates - Templates available to clients
  • Premium Templates - Templates requiring configurable options
  • Total Installations - Count of all template installations

Main Action Buttons​

  • View Templates - Go to templates list
  • Add Template - Create a new template manually
  • Sync Pterodactyl - Import nests/eggs from Pterodactyl
  • Manage Categories - Organize template categories
  • Extensions - Install and manage extensions

Recent Installations​

Table showing latest template installations with template name, client, status, and date.

Ranked list of most installed templates.

Shortcuts for common tasks.

Dropdown in the top-right to change admin panel language (25+ languages available).

Workflow​

  1. Sync - Import nests as categories and eggs as templates
  2. Configure - Edit templates with icons, descriptions, screenshots
  3. Activate - Enable templates for client visibility
  4. Monitor - Track installations and client activity

Templates​

Templates represent Pterodactyl eggs. Each template can have:

  • Custom icon and description
  • Screenshots and video
  • Pricing through WHMCS configurable options
  • Active/inactive status

Categories​

Categories organize templates and correspond to Pterodactyl nests:

  • Custom icons
  • Sort order
  • Active/inactive status

Installations​

Track every template installation:

  • Which client installed
  • Which server
  • Installation status and logs
  • Retry failed installations
